Welcome
Welcome to Singleton Primary School's new web site. We hope you find it informative and enjoyable.
Our Logo
Singleton Primary School has been open since 1996. The logo chosen for the school represents the rolling waves which ply the coastline between Golden Bay, Singleton and Madora Bay and the Norfolk Pines which can be seen throughout the coastal area.
Our Vision
Equity, Enterprise and Endeavour.
Providing all students with opportunities that empower them for success in a changing world.
Location
Singleton Primary School draws its students from the coastal locations of Madora, Singleton and Golden Bay. The school itself is situated adjacent to Harmony Lake in the coastal suburb of Singleton.
There is significant housing development and this is changing the small coastal communities into suburbs that characterise the rapid development of the Peel / Rockingham area.
The community is supportive of the school and strong linkages between school and home have been established.
Singleton Primary School opened in 1996. The progress of the school has been excellent and reflects well on the conscientious staff, a terrific administrative team, a very supportive community and great children.
Our Mission
To create a school environment where the needs of the students are nurtured in order for them to meet their greatest potential through the parents, teachers, staff, community members and children of Singleton Primary School working effectively together.
Our Values
The actions of all staff are guided by four core values.
LEARNING
We have a positive approach to learning and encourage it in others.
We advance student learning based on our belief that all students have the capacity to learn.
EXCELLENCE
We have high expectations of ourselves and our students.
We set standards of excellence and strive to achieve them.
These standards and expectations challenge all of us to give of our best.
EQUITY
We have a right to a workplace that is free of discrimination, abuse or exploitation.
We recognise the differing circumstances and needs of our students and are dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all.
CARE
We treat all individuals with care.
Our relationships are based on trust, mutual respect and the acceptance of responsibility.
In stating these values we acknowledge that the words alone are not sufficient. It is the actions, based on these values, which are important.
